Matters arising

1.1   Planning Applications.

The Council had received additional details of landscape protection measures at Chacombe Park (S/2004/1041/P). Permission has been granted

The Council had received amended plans for information only on S/2004/1524/P at 20 Bennett Close.

S/2004/1612/PO Erection of two storey chalet style bungalow and a detached building at rear to provide garaging for both existing and proposed dwelling at Lyddon Lodge,

Thorpe Road. Update: Permission refused as it was considered that the proposal would constitute an undesirable cramped sub-division of the existing plot, to the detriment of the character and appearance of the area and would result in an overbearing and un-neighbourly development to the detriment of the amenities of the neighbouring dwelling.

1.2 Lighting. Councillors were asked to report any dim lights to the Clerk.

1.3 Village Christmas Tree. It was encouraging that the Council¹s concerns about safety and the threat of vandalism did not materialise. Villagers had also said how much they had enjoyed the tree.

1.4 Playing Field Management Committee. The next meeting will take place on 20th January.
