Agenda

3.1 Parish Plan update

The last meeting was held on 5th December and members of the steering group were allocated specific areas and asked to draft questions for the questionnaire. Topics/issues raised at the Future Needs Day would be included.

3.2 Playing Field Insurance

Cllr Gliwitzki proposed and Cllr Roche seconded the proposal to pay the insurance premium of £123.75 to NPFA for The Betty Cameron Playing Field. The Parish Council had paid the insurance premium since NPFA had taken over the field and agreed to continue to do this.

AOB

1.             The WI felt that it was not able to co-ordinate the entry for the Village of the Year Competition.

2.             Water was still running out of the drain on the hill in Middleton Road. This would create very dangerous driving conditions if it were to freeze. Although the annual clearing of gulleys was due to be done this month it was felt that the running water was now a matter of some urgency.

Drivers were now trying to avoid the hole in Middleton Road, opposite The Glen by driving in the middle of the road. This would also be reported to Highways.

3.             Cllr Coates would pursue the issue of the barking dogs.

There being no further business the meeting closed at 8.20pm

The next meeting will be held on 5th February 2007 at 7.15pm.
